Power of the Left?

Thanks to Yuri Medvedev's efforts, the political Left is becoming a powerful and strong current. He wrote an interesting article on it too: Leftism in Lovia.

Now I was wondering, what do you fellows think the Left can do?

I mean: what reforms will they be able to push through in Lovia? How far can they go, if they want to, and what's unfeasible, even for them?

Do you think the Leftists will be able to push through huge nationalizations of core industries such as the railways or electricity? What about Medvedev's plan to create fishing quota: would the CPL.nm need the support of non-leftist politicians to get these kind of things through?

Liberals

Something else: should the Liberal Democrats, the biggest faction in Congress and my own party, do something about the rise of communism and socialism in Lovia? I personally don't see a problem in social(ist) parties in Congress. I believe in a mixed-ideology Congress. But I understand that Liberals (which I am) or Conservatives (which I am not) don't like the Communists pushing through their entire agenda! So here is my question: what could be done to keep the relationship between the center/right and the left in balance in Congress?
