The Plastic Bags is a Lovian punk band from Beaverwick, Kings. The band is signed to Warped Records and is associated with other Lovian punk bands like Hellnation, This Could Be Anywhere, Car Crash Sex, Terminal Illness and Jockcore.
The Plastic Bags consists of four guys from Beaverwick who met in high school and started a metalcore band in sixth form. They changed their name to The Plastic Bags when they left high school, and started playing pure punk rock. They are compared to Black Flag, Big Black, Minor Threat and Fugazi.
The Plastic Bags have rejected pop punk motives and esthetics in favor of a more classical punk ethos. They are straight edge and write little to no songs that cross the 3 minute mark. They covered themes like social deprivation, police agression ,the Lovian Civil War, politics and the Donia Clan.
