The Brook Street Inn is first and only inn in Charleston. It is located in one of the oldest buildings of the town, and very popular under locals. The inn organizes drinking matches on an annual basis. These controversial drink fests were almost forbidden by the police for fear of mass intoxication. After heavy pressure from the mayor, the police decided that the event could continue.
The Brook Street Inn features many specialty beers. Upstairs a snooker room can be found, popular under local youth.
