Maybe a special category should be made for abandoned hamlets separate from the normal hamlets category, to avoid confusion. :P 77topaz (talk) 09:19, August 29, 2013 (UTC)

Well, that's why we've got Category:Formerly inhabited places in Oceana. However, this is/was a hamlet, so it should be in the hamlet category :P --OuWTBsjrief-mich 09:20, August 29, 2013 (UTC)
But then someone like Marcus might accidentally add this to the National Settlement Order if they blanket-copy everything in the "Hamlets" category. :P Maybe a "Former hamlets" category could be a subcategory of the Hamlets category? 77topaz (talk) 09:26, August 29, 2013 (UTC)
On the condition that all hamlets are grouped together in the Hamlets category, and all present-day Hamlets are grouped in a Current hamlets category. :P --OuWTBsjrief-mich 09:30, August 29, 2013 (UTC)
Oos has right. Wabba The I (talk) 14:42, August 29, 2013 (UTC)
Actually, a "Current hamlets" category wouldn't be such a bad idea. 77topaz (talk) 04:04, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
I think a category:hamlet with subcategory:former hamlet (without the "s"). Wabba The I (talk) 08:18, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, singular is way more often in cats, though it's a bit uncontrolled I believe :P --OuWTBsjrief-mich 08:24, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
