Cold Hill (IPA: /koʊ̯ld 'hɪl/; Oceana: Cousheckt, IPA: /'kʲɒ:ʃɛkˠt/; Slovak: Chladný Vrch, IPA: /'xladny: vr̩x/) is a Lovian hamlet in the state of Oceana, in the Northern Wine Region district. Cold Hill is located in the Central Hill Land east of Sternaw and west of Heighnow.

Demographics

Of the 298 inhabitants of the Northern Wine Region district, 31 live in Cold Hill. According to the 2014 census, the racial make-up of Cold Hill was 31 white (100%); ethnically there were 18 Oceana (58,1%), 9 Slovaks (29%), and 4 Lovians (12,9%). The first-language distribution was recorded as 22 English (71%), 6 Oceana (19,4%), and 3 Slovak (9,7%). The distribution of religious affiliations was 24 Roman Catholic (77,4%), 4 United Protestant (12,9%) and 3 with no religious affiliation (9,7%).

Environment

Cold Hill is located in the Oceana Wine Region near the Northern Central Hills. The area is mostly covered with dense forests. The center of the built-up area is located at approximately 135 meters high.
