The King Arthur II School is a Lovian primary and secondary school located east of Hurbanova, in the Shkola Complex. There are about 350 students of the primary school and 400 of the secondary school, making it the largest school in the area.

History[]

The school was founded in 1903 as a secondary school. It was meant to be a school for wealthy people and there were 51 students and 12 teachers. The first director was Marčan Hladovka.

Secondary school[]

On the secondary school the following subjects are taught: English, Oceana, Slovak, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Latin, Greek, artistic education, history, geography, economy, philosophy, mathematics, physics, chemics, deepening of science, biology, technical education, musical education, health and care, social education, justice, deepening of society, physical education, anthropology, deepening of religion, general education of natural laws, drama.

Some of the subjects taught on the secondary school, for example mathematics, have different degrees, because it's a quite general subject but not everybody is very good in it and it's sometimes not very useful in combination with other subjects.
