Moose Hill, viewed from Moose Trail
Moose Hill is a Lovian mountain in the Emerald Highlands of Sylvania. It's 2,503 ft or 762.9 m tall. It is unknown who discovered the mountain.
Naming[]
Moose Hill named after a competition in the area, where all the strongest men in the area had a challenge to make a trail in order to go up the mountain easily. The family that made the best section of the trail would be allowed to name the mountain. The Moose family won the competition, and named it after themselves. However, due to the lack of definition of a mountain during those times, the mountain was called a hill. Nowadays, although the mountain is referred to as Moose Hill, it is considered a mountain. The trail became known as Moose trail, and is the easiest way to reach the summit of Moose Hill.
Moose Tower[]
After the mountain was named, locals wanted to make the mountain a type of monument of some sorts. They came to the decision to make a tower near the summit, in order to best view the area surrounding Moose Hill. The tower was built completely from stones, all of which were found on Moose Hill. On the inside of the tower are written the words:
Terra vos animadverto est terra de decor
Meaning 'The land you see is the land of beauty' in Latin. These words were chosen by one of the members of the Moose family.
From Moose Tower, one can see Mount Bellevue and Clave Rock. Some people claim that on certain days of the year, one can actually see all the way to Train Village and even further, although many claim this is a mirage.
