Andreas Avenue 9 is an old, art-deco rowhouse in Trading Quarter, Noble City. It was designed by the architect Henri Charles Anosier and built in 1937. Different from most of his other designs, this particular project is known to have piqued his interest into modern architecture. The house was sold by Pacific Brokers and Insurers to Dirk Brandt for L$ 900,000 on July 10, 2014.

History[]

The house itself was the residence of world-reknowned architect Henri Charles Anosier after he completed it in 1937. It was one of many art-deco houses Anosier built in this year, but the location "at the heart of Noble City, the very heart of Lovia itself" made Anosier design this house for himself.

He lived there until his death in 1967, at which time his estate sold it to the TBD family. The TBD family owned the property for two generations, but in 2014 failed speculation in the NCSE resulted in economic troubles, and they listed the property through Pacific Brokers and Insurers.

The house was kept up extremely well by the old owners, the TBD family, but it was deemed quite conservative in comparasion to the elaborate art-deco exterior. As such, when Dirk Brandt bought the property in July of 2014, he began rennovations immediately.

All of the appliances were upgraded to the latest models, as were the two restroooms. The art-deco theme was reinforced with the purchase of many original copies of fine art in the art-deco theme.

Art Collection[]

After purchasing this property, Brandt began to focus his personal art collecting towards Art Deco styles, at least until his house was filled with high-class art from the best Art Deco artists in the world. He already had an impressive art collection prior to the move, but he then chose to house his art at his new home.

He has debated giving tours of the lower two floors of his property (where the art is all located) and is still considering the pros and cons of allowing visitors. Here is some of the art currently "on display" at Andreas Avenue 9.
