David Noble (born Prince David of Lovia, 21 August 1968) is a Lovian geologist and university professor. He was born a member of the Royal family of Lovia but renounced all succession claims and abandoned usage of royal titles. He is presently the Deputy Head of the Geology Department of Blackburn University.

Early life[]

Noble was born in 1968 to Princess Caroline and Prince Henry (born Henry Chase) in Noble City. David was noted as being somewhat of a rebellious young man, uninterested in the royal lifestyle and all the formalities it accompanied. Noble wanted to volunteer with the United States Navy at the age of 17 but his mother discouraged him from it.

Studies and professional career[]

Upon reaching the age of 18 in 1986, he renounced his claims and place in the Line of succession to the Lovian throne and left Lovia to move was to Canada, working at a paper factory in the West Coast. He moved to the USA in 1988 and studied geology at the University of California Los Angeles, graduating in 1993. He started teaching Earth Science at a high school in El Monte (California), outside of Los Angeles, after finishing his teaching qualifications in 1995. In 2002 he moved back to Lovia, living in a modest townhouse in Noble City. He joined Blackburn University as a professor in 2005, making tenure in 2011 and appointed to the Geology Department administration in 2015, first as student counselor and coordinator and as of 2017, the deputy head of the department.

Personal life[]

There were rumors in the early 1990s that he was involved in a same-sex relationship. From 2003 to 2014 he lived with his partner, Greta Brown.
