Coastal Valley

Coastal Valley (hexacode: KI-CV) is a rural district in the south of Kings. The district was first settled in the 1880s by settlers from the Netherlands and Belgium. Coastal Valley attracts a lot of tourists, and as a result tourism is one biggest sectors in the local economy. The administrative headquarters of the district are located in Oostdorp.

Geography[]

Coastal Valley is located in the state of Kings, on the south coast of Kings Island, next to the districts of Southern Marshlands and Windthorn Shores. The region is relatively flat compared to much of the state, and is situated at Grand Bay.

Settlements[]

There are three settlements in Coastal Valley; Oostdorp, Hawke's Wood and Milton. Of the three, Oostdorp has the highest population and is the location of the district's administrative headquarters.

Whilst Portland is in the district's geographical region, it is a seperate district for reasons of administration.

Politics[]

Like much of Kings, Coastal Valley is progressive, with parties such as United Left and the Green Party being popular in the district. In the Kings State Council, the district is represented by one councillor, currently Rachel Villiers of United Left.
