Anthony Harmann

Anthony Harmann (May 21, 1953 - November 4, 2011) was the mayor of Adoha from 2007 to 2010, and a independent candidate, who stood on a platform of diversifying the economy and improving transport links.

Biography

Harmann was born in May 1953 to a German Lutheran family. His family immigrated to Sofasi in 1951, following World War II. He grew up in Sofasi and studied at UC Berkeley in California. Harmann became a lawyer and helped financially disadvantaged people. Harmann did not marry and had no children.

Death

In May 2011 he crashed his Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG into a lampost, totally destroying the car. He died 2 days later in the hospital. He was succeeded by Marcus Villanova.
