The Alexandru Latin funeral was held on December 5, 2010 in the Orthodox Church Saint Andrew in Drake Town, Hurbanova, Oceana. The service was held by local priest, Ioan Barba. As it was open to the public, many Oceanans and political admirers arrived.

Speeches were made by the deceased's brother Cristian Latin and by fellow CCPL politicians Oos Wes Ilava and Ygo August Donia.
