[edit] Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks, two uneducated farmers. Lincoln was born in a one-room log cabin on the 348-acre (1.4 km²) Sinking Spring Farm, in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky (now part of LaRue County).
Lincoln's assassination on April 15, 1865 made the President a martyr to many.
Repeated polls of historians have ranked Lincoln as among the greatest presidents in U.S. history, often appearing in the first position. Among contemporary admirers, Lincoln is usually seen as personifying classical values of honesty and integrity, as well as respect for individual and minority rights, and human freedom in general.

- You may fool all the people some of the time;
- you can even fool some of the people all the time;
- But you can’t fool all of the people all the time.
[edit] The park
The park features a replica of a log cabin to represent and reinact a farm of the time of Abraham Lincoln's youth. During summer, children play in the cabin and the elderly stroll around the park grounds admiring the multiple flower beds or enjoying the many squirrels feeding on pinecones while balancing on tree trunks and the many benches around the park. On New Year's Eve, a spectacular fireworks display will mark midnight in Little Europe. Come and be part of the festivities.
Everybody is welcome!
